Gustavo is a substance abuse counselor, and he is the founder of “Live in Freedom Don’t Die in Silence,” a recovery program dedicated to educating the community about the impact of drug abuse on individuals, families and communities at large and about the resources available in the community to deal with this life consuming brain disease.
It is believed that illicit substances affect a person in a negative way, in every area of a person’s life; indeed, it affects the drug user physically, socially, mentally, emotionally, financially and spiritually. This is why, Gustavo is dedicated to help people get out of the Pit of Addiction, so that the life of a drug user may also be restored in every area of his or her life.
Gustavo’s desire is that young people will choose to live in freedom, an exciting and amazing life without an addiction to mind altering drugs, or to other compulsive behaviors, so that they will live their life to the fullest.
